About Us

My name is Kimarie Tobe, and I am the proud founder of Push for Love, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting parents of children with special needs and their caregivers—both emotionally and financially. As a single mother of three boys, I understand the challenges families face, and I created Push for Love to provide a community of hope, strength, and resources for those who need it most.

Our journey began in 2014 with a simple idea: selling t-shirts to raise funds for families in need. Over time, this idea blossomed into Push for Love Apparel, where a percentage of every purchase directly supports our mission. You can explore our work and shop for a cause at pushforlovegives.org

In 2017, Push for Love proudly received its trademark, solidifying our identity as a trusted organization. By 2021, we became an official 501(c)(3) non-profit, expanding our reach and ability to serve more families. In 2022, we launched Push for Love Retreats, offering parents and caregivers much-needed moments of connection, relaxation, and renewal. These retreats are designed to provide emotional support while fostering a sense of community among those who share similar experiences.

Our creativity continued to flourish in 2023 when we produced the inspiring Push for Love song and music video, now available on YouTube Music. This project serves as a heartfelt reminder of the love and resilience that define our mission.

Looking ahead, we are excited about our upcoming events in 2024. On July 20th, we will host a special boat ride on the Odyssey in Washington, D.C.—a chance to unwind, connect, and celebrate together. Later in the year, on October 5th, we will gather at the Pooks Hill Bethesda Marriott for our second retreat of the year. This event will feature sound bath therapy sessions, a delicious breakfast buffet, spoken word performances, live music, and more—a day dedicated to uplifting and empowering our community.

At Push for Love, we believe that no parent or caregiver should face their journey alone. Together, we can create a world where families raising children with special needs feel supported, valued, and loved. Thank you for being part of this mission.
